Currently in Watson Lake. Plan for Whitehorse tonight. Services are sketchy. Update when able.

Paradise home for the night. Fox Lake, Yukon, Canada. Slept by a bubbling stream. Took these pictures about 10:30pm local time.

100 miles from our camp for the night...Chicken, Alaska. Likely no service there. We'll check in from Fairbanks the next day.

Tok, Alaska. After 120 miles of dirt/gravel, one near high side and a close encounter with a fox. But I'm still smiling :)

Great trip.  I am jealous.   By the way your SPOT quit sending at the Canadian border.

We are hold up in a hotel in Fairbanks. It's 50 degrees and raining. Rest day today.

Apparently the SPOT does not have good coverage in rural Alaska. Who knew? When it di'nt send or receive a signal for awhile it shut off. We didn't know and didn't turn it back on. Keeping it off now to save battery. But everyone knows where we are, so it's all good. Everyone is safe and dry, for now. Updates when the excitement continues. 

We are doing laundry and going through gear to send home. My list of unused gear so far:

A cork screw
A bottle opener
A pillow case

Think I'll save the postage ;)

49th State Brewing Co. They have the old transit bus used for the movie "Into the Wild." The original bus is 35 miles in to the "wild" from where we are, still where Chris McCandless was stranded.

More gravel, pot holes and some slick hay like shit. 120miles down Denali Hwy. The vista was amazing.




So far, my bike isn't complaining about the terrain as much as I am :p
