Peace, Love and Brunch at the Wildflower

Sandy and I are riding up to the Wildflower Cafe in Mentone on Sunday morning for brunch.

When: August 28, 2016, Sunday. KSU at 10:00am

Where: The ride will leave from the Hardee's/Chevron in Gurley on Hwy 72, 15 miles east of Huntsville. We'll make a straight shot to Mentone, then meander back stopping to see the sights.
((Please let me know if you plan to meet us in Gurley.))

The ride will be a mix of 2 and 4 lane roads. No interstate. The ride will be about 150 miles round trip, with stops about every hour. Most of the ride will be at cruising speeds.

I plan to be back in Gurley around 2:30-3:00pm. There will be several places where you can peel off and head home.

All riders are invited. I ask that you ride within your limits and enjoy the ride.

Thanks Johnny for setting this up. It was my first time eating at the Wildflower. The food was great as was the company.

The overlook was pretty cool too. Someday I plan on riding that road to the end.
