I think we ended up 29th out of 61 entries...

It was a good weekend, nothing broken(beyond repair :o), no one injured(beyond repair 8)).....

Everyone pulled their weight...a good team of riders.  I'd ride with any of them again.

The old man looks whooped already.

Do you have a link for live timing?

How dare you?!

The "old man" was in the midst of a strategic head cooling session.

It was a really, really good weekend.

I commented to one of the other teams there: "It was fun. Even when it wasn't fun, it was fun."

I think maybe I'll do it again next year.

Team Heavy Hitters finished the 24 hour Perry Mountain race. It probably wasn't the prettiest team but we ran continuously the full 24 hours and finished the event in 29th place.  Our team motto was "start slow and taper off" and I feel that we hit our marks.

Great event, for sure we choose the wrong tools for the event, but we knew that going in and our plan was to have a good time and hopefully others enjoyed watching us "race" in the event. We were the only street legal bikes that we saw in the event (there may have been a stray 350EXC in the crowd) but for sure we had fun. Great event and if you get a chance to run it, it's very well run and everyone was great about having us around...

two KTM 950 SE's, one KLR650, one KTM 690e, and one DR650. Good times.
