First thing to do is buy a bigger tank, a couple are available to increase capacity to 3 gallons. 

Too bad the seller can't write a decent ad, that's either a decent deal or could be high mileage and needs all kinds of work.

When they can't write in complete sentences, I wonder if they know how to maintain a bike.

If they cannot write coherently, I assume that they cannot do anything properly, including maintenance, and I move on.

You'd be surprised. I've found some great bikes on CL where the ad was horrible. Sometimes I search for ads with no pictures because most people don't pursue those as often.

Some people just don't know how to use technology, or proofread. And don't forget that if it's a non-riding family member, wife selling from a divorce/death/etc they may not know model designations well. So basically like your typical salesman at a bike dealership.  :D
