I rebuilt the top end on that one earlier this year. It was one of the two TTRs I bought from James and then sold to a buddy. Not exactly what I would call excellent condition but it's a good buy for $300-500 less than he's asking.

Nope, the TTR of legend was sold last month to a buddy who's getting into dual sporting. I'll probably buy it back when it comes time for another head job next year.

If you're serious about that bike, and I don't get stuck at work too long on Thursday I could take a look at it for you on my way up to Bham.  And if you're interested in coming to Lower Alabama to pick up some old dual sports, I know a '94 DR 350 you could take back up with you as well.  Might as well get one for you, and one for the wife!

ETA:  This looks like a helluva deal on a like new bike...

Thanks for the offer, but we just picked up a 04 XT225 yesterday for my wife.

I already have a KLX250.

A friend sent that to me this morning, knowing I'd been looking for a XT, but wasn't aware we had one.

I'm trying to convince another friend she needs it. Unfortunately, the roofers are starting tomorrow on her house, so her cash flow might be tight.
