I love the DR650. It is the easiest of the 650 class to pick up imo and its just plain fun. Averbis and few other farkles but keep it short of mad max world domination mods and it should make you happy. Ive owned one. I thought I wanted a KLR650 instead, until I rode one and it felt like a tractor (handled like one too).

Hoping to get it all put back together on Saturday.  Fork and shock springs have finally arrived.  Have to install those, grease the linkage and swingarm bolt, and finish the LED conversion.  Still waiting for my longer cables, but I'll be able to ride it while I wait.
