Key West Group Ride -- Postponed

I have March 24-31 off. Wikipedia says March-May is the best time to visit Key West with 70 degree weather, waning winter tourists and the best hotel rates. Who is interested in a long haul?

Oh go ahead twist my arm this morning.... Now I can think about this and try to plan to make it work...  :'(
It's a great Idea and something Susan and I both have on the list.

Only 20 bucks..... As bad as she has been wanting to make a ride to the Keys she would have gone much higher^^^ Besides It's my money anyway.... LOL

I found that hotels in Key Largo were about half the cost of the ones in Key West.  But it is a 2-hour ride from Key Largo to Key West because of speed limits, which they do enforce.

It is definitely worth going though.  Key West is awesome.  Next time I go, it'll be with my wife and we'll plan three full days so that we can see more of the museums, lighthouses, forts, stores, etc.  Maybe even take a boat ride.

I highly suggest cutting though the everglades.

I have all week. Yeah. Spring Break is awesome!

I don't plan on this being a balls to the wall ride. Pace and route will be determined by time constraints of those who join the ride.

Not planning on it. I'm hoping we can avoid interstate in some of the more interesting areas.

We would rather be a ride of leisure.  Stay off the interstates as much as possible.  Chuck has ridden he Everglades and loved it.  I want to take that ride as well.

What is the route down looking like?

Not necessarily curves. Interesting places, like the Everglades. I'm planning down one coast, up the other. Still looking at maps and attractions.
