The Ridge, Saturday May 12

Sorry for the late notice, I'm headed to the Ridge in the morning. Two or three other riders may meet me there. Anyone is welcome to come along. I've never ridden at the Ridge before, so I'll probably do some two-track and if I'm feeling great, Sterlin might talk me into some single track(something about The Beast?)

We're meeting at 9am and KSU around 9:15.


If any admins/moderators show up, bring some MA stickers. I could use a few.

Good times. We chose the hottest day of the year so far, and it was still fun.

All the trails were so loose and sandy. I ate lots of dust, literally. Washed out in a turn or two, but saved it before I ate shit or a pine tree .

Then, I sent my KDX into a backflip or two, busted the throttle housing, dislodged a foot peg, and broke the headlight/number plate. I got it put back together enough to keep riding.

I tried maybe 300 yards of "The Beast". Dropped it 3 times even though we avoided the tougher part.

I'll be a frequent flyer at The Ridge. I need to work on my skills- definitely.

Now off to Amazon for replacement parts.

Let me know next time you head out there Don. I'm working on getting back into dirt riding and could use a good double track day.
