Hi, Everyone!

We had a small but fun crowd at breakfast Saturday, with many members already in Madison to participate in the Euro/Brit Car and Bike Show.  Both were "the" places to be!

Here are the activities we've got coming up:

- June 6:  Docent Training at Barber.  Please see the following, extracted from an email I got from Jennifer Nelson at Barber:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 6th, 2018 we [Barber] will kick-off our Summer semester of Docent training!

Whether you are a volunteer who is passionate about motorsports or a volunteer with excellent people skills, you can contribute to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum's mission in a big way by becoming a docent.

Docents have studied the museum's history as well as our unique exhibits, and they can take groups through the museum on tours. Our docents and docent-led tours are some of the museum's greatest "vehicles" for educating museum guests on the history of motorcycles, vintage autos, and motorsports. You can be a part of the experience as well!

To participate in docent training, you must have served as a volunteer for 2 years or 6 shifts. If you have questions about your eligibility, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Each training session builds on the previous session, so it is very important to attend all of the meetings. Please go ahead and mark your calendars for these dates:

I'll forward the entire email as well, for any of you who wish to pursue docent certification at Barber but didn't get the email with the registration link from Jennifer.
