The forest that time forgot

With the photo tag being down in Bibb county I decided it would be a good time to explore Oakmulgee forest.
I almost missed the turn, everything is covered in undergrowth.



The roads however are fantastic, even the less maintained were great.
After about 2 hours of riding, I noticed my fuel was getting low so I started to work my way out. I should've took a map!
Another hour later I find civilization again.
I will be back and with a full tank and a map next time. If you dualsport, you need to try Oakmulgee. Nothing technical about it but lots to ride and see.

I didn't do any dirt roads but I was in the same area earlier.

 :D We just missed each other. The car at the far end of the lot was pulling in as I was leaving.

At least it looks like the same car?

Yeah we probably was just in front of or behind one another this evening.

Same here, he got me in Winfield, same car was in his pic on ADV.
It's a wonder all 3 of us didn't pass each other, I took backroads from Winfield to Northport, then back to Moody.
