 Hi, Everyone!

Come join us this Saturday, Nov 10th at the Blue Plate Cafe II (corner of S. Memorial Parkway and Byrd Spring Rd) for our annual Veterans Day celebration!

It's going to be a great day:  We'll kick off with a Veterans Day Tribute program for all of our local- and member-Veterans (and family members), and will then enjoy a presentation by lifetime Motor Maid Genevieve Cooke, telling us about the Motor Maids and her life as part of the organization.

Then we'll travel from the Blue Plate to Tut Fann Veterans Home, 2701 Meridian St N, Huntsville, AL 35811.

CHANGE:  WE ORIGINALLY PLANNED A GROUP RIDE FROM BLUE PLATE TO TUT FANN.  HOWEVER, GIVEN THE PROJECTED COLD FRONT AND SINKING TEMPERATURES, WE'LL SIMPLY TRAVEL EITHER VIA CARPOOL (OR BIKE FOR THOSE WHO WISH) DIRECTLY FROM BLUE PLATE TO TUT FANN.

OBJECTIVE IS TO BE AT TUT FANN AT 11 AM.

We'll serve lunch and visit with the residents until 1 pm, though you can opt to stay and visit as long as you like.

This is going to be a really fun and meaningful day--definitely worth blocking your calendar for this one!
