So any suggestions on which oil I should run?

Been using shell Rotella T 15-40. Good enough for a diesel truck good enough for a bike right?

KevinB

Been using it in bikes/cars/trucks/atvs for years with no issues. It's JASO M rated, so good to go.

somone asked for an oil thread so i had to deliver one.

That would be me. I drained the oil out of my bike a week ago with the intent of doing an oil change but all the oil  threads were deleted. So, I've been riding without oil for the past week because I wasn't sure what to put back in it.

It'll probably be fine.

IceCold4x4

did you use that slick 50 or z max at the previous oil change?

Oil is a serious thing if your bike requires it from time to time.

Basically Any good oil will work.
If you have a wet clutch motorcycle no fiction modifiers.
If you have a dry clutch it really don't matter.

All those old wives tales came about a long time ago. When the cheap oil was garbage.
Now the cheap off the shelf (store brand) is pretty good oil. Will you be able to tell the difference? Maybe maybe not.

Argh Oh

That's all well and good, but how much pressure do you put in the tank?
