Some pictures from my first month of riding. (December)
I have ridden a little over 500 miles. I have had very little motorcycle experience. I have been taking it easy just trying to get comfortable. These pictures are from a couple of 60 ish mile rides in North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.

I like the dirt roads the best!

Cool!

You picked a good bike to start learning on. There's a good group up in your neck of the woods to ride with and learn from.

Welcome to a great sport.

Agree on the choice of bike. Have fun riding and adventuring!

This group will keep you in the saddle and roaming new roads. Awesome group to join for campout ridding weekends as well.

It's a beautiful day, let's go somewhere....

Was that underpass near the Natchez trace?

You are either from around Elkmont, or you found a lot quick.  I know almost every picture.

I have ridden a little in that area, but I stay further west. There's a lot of good riding in southern middle Tennessee, and north Alabama.

Looks like you're off to a great start!

Guidedawg

It does look like you're having a lot of fun.  Take your time and there are excellent riders in your area who explore those roads a lot.
Although you are probably more than capable, taking an MSF class is a good idea for new riders also.

Solas

I was looking to take the MSF bit could not find one close. I would still love to get more training.

I have much to learn
