Am I stupid, or just crazy? DS ride in the GA, NC, TN mountains in winter

I'm gonna head up to N. Ga on Sunday 12/27/15. Then I'm gonna ride the Smokey Mountains 500. It's a 500 mile loop around GA, TN, and NC with the majority of the route dirt and gravel. I'm planning on doing it in 3 days so Monday 12/28 - Wednesday 12/30.

With the warmer winter, I think the temps will be around 60-67 highs and around 45-48 lows - perfect for riding and camping! Most of the route is in the 2000ft to 3000ft elevation, but there will be a few brief times like riding under the Cherohala where it may get cooler.

If you're interested in going either reply or PM me and we'll hash out details. I'm also available to shift the trip a day or two up as well.

That looks like a blast. I have been following this routes thread on advrider and look forward to running it one day.

Wish I could have made these dates work.
