Auburn - Deal's Gap, Oct. 2-4

Spending 2 nights in the Microtel in Robinsville, plush, I know.

The route to Robinsville is negotiable, but I suspect I'll hit Suches and Tellico Plains on the way up to come in via the Cherahola Skyway.

Saturday I'll be up at first light to ride the Dragon until it gets crowded, then I'll probably stop to admire some hardware. After that I'll either scratch the surface of 28 or the Blue Ridge Parkway for the rest of the day.

Back to Auburn on Sunday.

I'm expecting my son to visit me that weekend but if those plans fall through, you may see me up there.  The scenery around there in October is awesome.
