Great report.   Reminds me to rotate my JB Weld.  I carry the putty variety.   Also makes me want to load up the baby Beemer in the back of the pickup and try a dirt road trip.  Will have to pick you brain sometime about it.

Great report but you missed an amazing ride at Pikes peak.  Oh the view ain't half bad either. I can't wait to come back on a bike,  I'll ha e to hit up some of your stops.  Thanks for taking the time to post it all up.

Thanks for the report. I want to make a similar trip next summer. I would try to do the whole trip on my KLR or buy a new, larger DS. Great report.

Ride reports like this one helped inspire me to make a Colorado trip the first week of August this year. I already want to go back. Thanks for taking the time to share. I need to do the same myself shortly.
