Motorcycle Alabama

July 17th...We started our trip Monday evening around 9 pm. On the way we stopped at the rest area in Butler County, just north of Greenville. As we were there, this car came flying into the rest area. One minute sooner, Susan would have been in the bathroom the car hit; one minute later, Susan would have been the path of the car.  Our excitement for the night.

We made the to our hotel without further incident.

July 18th - Chuck went to his meeting, Susan went shopping. Bass Pro Shop next to the hotel...how nice.

Went to dinner with Johnny, Guidedawg and Mrs. Guidedawg. Great dinner at Jim 'N Nick's was great with awesome company.

Started with a bang!!

Mrs. Guidedawg and I had a great time representing the River Region at the first flash mob of the journey.  A co-worker had told me that Jim-n-Nick's had gone up on prices and down on service.

What we discovered was great food and prices to be expected, a patio to ourselves, and excellent company.  It was a very enjoyable night with Chuck, Susan, and Fearless Leader.  Hopefully the rest area incident is the closest you are coming to umm...traffic problems.

July 19th - Chuck had a meeting which turned out to be very short, which meant no shopping for Susan. That evening met  with some great people and had some good food. Awesome evening.

July 20th - Slept late, chilled at the hotel. Was going for a ride with Chitza but got rained out. But Chuck did get to the GP8. He had a work out. Killed one cone (going straight....).  Enjoyed the company of Mojo, Spinger, Mike and Steve.

July 21st - started the next leg of our adventure. Beautiful weather (Yes a bit hot).  Enjoyable ride. Will be glad to see all at the flash mob tonight.

Enjoyed meeting merc16 and Mrs mojo1 tonight. Nice to see mojo1. Good friends for a food night. Tomorrow time to head home.

Glad to see the trip was a success!

Yes it was.... And I want to catch up with you sometime in the future to see that wing. I might come up that way one weekend just to go ride with ya after you get it legal again.

5 total flash mops and GP8 in a little over a week.  Thanks to all who came out to make this ride possible.  We enjoyed it very much and we do live in Alabama the Beautiful.
