Waking up the IT200 after a 16 year nap

My son and I have been discussing the possible practicality of reviving my tired old enduro racer for local forest riding.  We want to dual sport it but all I have is the certificate of origin that it came with in 1985.  It does state that the bike was not designed for highway use, but we are hopeful that that won't be a problem here in Mississippi.
