North Carolina mountain ride Sept 22-25

Heading to the Mountains Friday Sept. 22 for some Street riding. The Saturday ride I am planning on hitting the roads North East of Maggie Valley looping around toward Little Switzerland. 
I have a room booked at Laurel Park Inn in Maggie Valley.
I may also on Monday head down into North Georgia spend the night and come home on Tuesday.

Meet at Jack's 36966 Us-231, Ashville, AL 35953 ( exit 166 )
8:00 a.m. KSU at 8:30

Just a week away if anyone wants to tag along. Some of the roads I am planning on riding are 209, 212, 226A, 80, 281, 215.

Those are some awesome roads.  I wish I didn't have to work.

Just a heads up...I read on ADV that sections of the BRP are closed due to storm damage from Irma (trees down, etc.). I think it's mainly from Asheville south.

I'm hoping that I can get some home/family stuff done this weekend and head up there on Monday for a few days.

I read that too.  I also read that crews are working on clearing it so it might be open again soon.

Saturday I am planning on going north of Ashville but Sunday I was planning on hitting the blue ridge for just a few miles between hwy 19 and 74. Thanks for the heads up.

Looks like its closed between mile 376 and Mount Mitchell Park entrance at NC 128.  Progress is ongoing and more is being opened almost daily.

According to the map today, its all opened up except for a couple of access roads to picnic areas.
