Tellico Plains June 23 - 27

Heading to Tellico for a few days. I'm staying at one of the small cabins off of Rafter Rd (Mountain View Cabins). I will be heading out Wednesday morning from Helena. If someone wants we can meet up along the way or there.

I wish I could join you but I have commitment on Thursday night and plan on going to Barber on Saturday.  Which bike are you riding?

I am going on the Himalayan. I'm not sure about some of the dirt roads but have been looking and trying to coming up with something for each day. I was going to try to come up with 3 different routes. There is a lot of roads some of it may be just exploring a bit. I found some but not sure if they are accessible. Do you know if the unicoi mountain trail is or is it just a hiking trail.

Here is the Cherokee Challenge gpx from MMM 2019.  It has some pretty good forest road routes...nothing too difficult.

Tellico has some great roads!  My favorite area to ride around here.
Renfro Valley Dual Sport is the weekend before...June 18-20.
I'm gonna try it on the Ulysses...maybe not all of it!
If I survive, I'll try to catch up with you for Tellico.

Sounds good. I have road in the area a lot but no much off the pavement. I have taken my fz1 on a couple gravel rds for a few miles up there that wasn't to bad. I would like it if someone else was with me in case I had any trouble along the way because there isn't cell reception most of the places.
