Proof that California is the land of fruits and nuts

Some good riding and some...dunno how to describe it.

I regret never making it up so Mulholland Dr when I lived in SoCal in the 80s.  Even back then that place was a Circus.  People would go up there and set up lawn chairs to watch the show.  I read that there were even some hot dog vendors that would set up there. 

Watching the video it looks like it is even crazier there than Deal's Gap is today.

However, I do have great memories of my riding in SoCal.  Palomar Mountain, Angeles Crest Highway, Montezuma Grade, Rim of the World Drive, and lots of other great roads.

Was it the land of fruits and nuts?
