I've not been able to find a good "lunch stop" in this area.  2 years ago, when we rode up here, Mt. Zion church was having their Fall festival, so we had lunch there.

I'm not sure, but I think their festival was last weekend......if anyone has suggestions, or knows for sure about Mt. Zion church festival...please, chime in.

We'll probably not have time for all this, but if we have a small group and move at a good pace we may go by Fort Bluff.....It'll be 190 miles or so if we do it all.....

We can just play it by ear on the way back south.

If not, we can just head on down I-65 back home...

If nothing goes wrong I plan on making the ride but would have to meet around all of you around Athens. Just can't see slabbing it down to Vinemont from Huntsville just to come back north.
