August 16:  Our 3rd Flash Mob of the Summer, at Sam's Sports Grill in Decatur.  Our flash mob at Straight to Ale this past Tuesday was hampered by threatening weather.  Let's hope for more favorable conditions in August!  Sam's Sports Grill is located at
at 1208 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601.  The plan is to pack the place at 6 pm.  Join us if you can!

August 17-19:  19th Annual Mississippi State All Bikes Rally, Sturgis, MS  http://www.msrally.com/

August 19:  Alan Nicholson's Sunday Afternoon BBQ Ride.  These are all-makes/all-years rides.  This ride will originate at noon, at the Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 2750 Carl T Jones Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35802, and riders will travel to Guntersville (tentatively to The Brick BBQ Restaurant).  Turnout for the first ride was greater than anticipated, and the ride was a hit!  Mark your calendars and join Alan for this ride upcoming!

Sep 8:  Sons of Liberty Riders' 7th Annual Wounded Veterans Ride, benefiting Mission 22, Fisher House and Service Dogs of AL.  Ride starts and ends at Freddie Day Catering, 1628 2nd Ave, Cullman, AL.  $25/rider, includes ride escort, lunch and door prizes.

WEEKLY GATHERINGS:

--All of our weekly gatherings are open gatherings of motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts.  These are NOT vintage-specific gatherings, and you need not own/ride a bike to participate.  These gatherings present great opportunities to share some food/drink and enjoy a great time in the company of a wide variety of people who enjoy the world of motorcycling.  Give 'em a try!
