I had no idea seven bridges road was written about a road in Alabama.  I absolutely love that song.

I was watching Home Free's version of the song and that got the wheels turning to make this list.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however,  extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity.

If it don't scare you, you ain't doing it right.

sure is. It was cowritten by Curly Putman. Curly grew up in Paint Rock Valley. Hwy 65 is name the Curly Putman Highway. He also wrote Green Green Grass of Home, which refers to the valley also.

A few mentions that come to mind:

Both Bob Dylan (Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again) and Cher (Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves) mention Mobile.

In at least one song Jimmy Buffett mentions Mobile as his hometown and I believe Creola also.

You have plenty for Montgomery, but my favorite is John Prine's "Angel from Montgomery." :)
