I've been waiting to receive this for some time, after getting in on the Indiegogo campaign over a year ago. Finally arrived today, after a month and a half in shipping limbo. (They've since changed shipping companies, so people who ordered in early July got theirs before I did. :'( )
Took a quick ride into town, gotta say the drivers seemed to notice it, gave me plenty of space at stops... a nice change.
LEDs are very bright... easily visible even on this cloudless south Alabama summer day. Gonna take another ride at around dusk (when it cools off) and see how it does at night.
I figure anything that makes me more visible is a good thing.  :)

Anybody else use something like this?

How does it work. Is it always flashing or somehow gets brighter when you stop?

It has three different modes; always on, flashing, and only a few LEDs on... in every mode, they get brighter when you stop, and flash in hard braking.
Riding on our dark road earlier, I really noticed the red light on the ground behind me when braking.

So it has a built-in accelerometer to sense speed changes?

Yep, no wires... I rode with it on a dark road last night, I could see it brighten on braking, downshifting, engine braking... bright enough that I think that alone deters tailgaters.  :D

Neat concept...let us know how it holds up.
