Are those the Motoz?

The rear is the Motoz Tractionator HT and the front is the Pirelli Scorpion Rally. This is the best combo I have found for traction and mileage!

The rear howls like crazy but it is glorious offroad!

Good looking set of knobs.  I don't mind the howl on the road. The only thing that bothers me about running aggressive tires on the road is braking distance increase.

Went riding this morning (about 80 miles) to get the rest of the corn out of my tank.  Got home and decided to put on new tires and heavy-duty tubes in preparation for my trip next month.  Dunlop D606s and IRC HD tubes.

... IRC HD tubes.

I have found the Michelin HD tubes a pain to take a patch. Have you had the same results with the IRC?
What we've got here, is a failure to communicate.  Strother Martin as the Captain in Cool Hand Luke.
Endeavor to persevere! Chief Dan George as Lone Watie in The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Usually I carry a spare tube.  I've only ever had to patch one tube in my life, and I can't remember what brand it was.

These could be the sexiest brake lines ever. I'll begin the changeout on the ZRX tonight.

I cleaned the brake jelly out of my lines and calipers today.  Sprayed them out with brake cleaner, now soaking overnight with fresh DOT4. Then a final wipe down and cleaning and she can go back together.

I bet it'll stop better after this. That's a pretty telling mixture of brake cleaner and rancid brake fluid.

Too much orange goo remained in the calipers for me to feel good about reassembly. That and I couldn't resist spending $68 on rebuild kits.

Spent most of the day trying to clean up the parts, waiting on new seals to get here next week.

Brake cleaner didn't work.

Brake fluid didn't work.

Gasoline made a small dent in the grime.

What worked?  S100. Yep, good ol S100 did the trick.

A 30 minute $100 brake pad change turned into a two week $400 brake system rebuild.

I do it every time.

DonJuan, it looks like S100 did an impressive job cleaning those. How much was the cleaner vs the elbow grease?

Maybe 5 minutes per piece of scrubbing with a toothbrush, after a 20 minute presoak. Before that they looked rough.
