Melony and I are home safe and sound.  Had a great time with y'all, so thankful we made the decision to come up Friday night.

Good to see everyone again and meet a few new folks too....sure was fun.

It sure was a great trip. "Nice Goat", what a great job with the routes. The scenery was beautiful. I cannot express what a great time I had meeting and traveling with everyone. What a great group of folks. Thanks to all for the hospitality extended. Can't wait to see y'all again.

It was an awesome weekend.  Thanks Glenn for setting all this up.  It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

I rode out ahead of the group to get find a good spot to get pics as the group rode by.

Then I rode ahead again to get some pics but the group took a slightly different group so I only got pics of Norton73 at this spot as he came back to get me.

Sandy and I left the house within an hour of the projected time. That's really good for us. The plan was to ride up to Dechard, eat breakfast then head east to Cherohala Mountain Trails near Tellico Plains.

First stop Sunrise Breakfast in Dechard. The food was pretty good and was on the table within a couple minutes after placing order.


Next it was to Hwy 50, 108, 399, 111, 30, 411, 310. These were all nice roads, a few had some steep grades and sharp curves. We rolled into the campground around 3pm.  After checking in, Buzz and Karla invited us to follow them to Bald River Falls.

Next was the challenge to walk to the top of the falls.

Not to be out done, Sandy makes her way to the rocks at the top.


We always work together and help all members to the next level at bamarides.


I even washed the bike for the weekend and no one noticed.


The camp grounds and cabins were nice. The owners went above and beyond to meet our needs and wants. Pics from around the grounds.






Bike repairs and it wasn't a Harley this time.


We will attack a bike and force it into submission.

As we headed out Sunday morning heading home, I reached a milestone. While the bike is a 2005 it only had 17k when I purchased it in Feb of 2012


Huge thanks to Glenn (Nice Goat) for posting up this ride and Mojo for leading the street ride to Murphy, Deals Gap and back to camp.

We had around 20 folks attend this Event.
