I have a Bilt full face helmet. Since the spring I have been wearing my HJC 3/4. It is getting cold, so I decided to clean the Bilt since it is much warmer and (fluorescent yellow) more visible. I removed the padding and threw them in the washing machine and then drier. I cleaned the inner styrofoam and outer shell with windex. That killed a couple of spiders. Now I am reinstalling the washable padding. It isn't coming together right. Was the 3 fingers of bourbon supposed to come while the pads were washing or after final installation?
